At MSR Equipment Hire, we take insurance seriously. We carry comprehensive public liability insurance, full equipment insurance covering damage, theft and loss, and transit insurance that applies throughout every delivery and collection; giving both our business and our clients genuine protection across the entire hire period.

All equipment is regularly serviced by qualified technicians. Pre-hire safety inspections are carried out before every booking, and full service history and maintenance records are documented and kept on file. Insurance certificates and safety documentation are available upon request.

As a condition of hire, all hirers are required to hold a minimum $20 million public liability insurance policy for the duration of the hire period. This must be in place prior to equipment being released and evidence may be requested at any time. Hirers remain fully responsible for the equipment from the moment it leaves our depot until it is returned and accepted back in satisfactory condition.

To help reduce liability exposure, MSR Equipment Hire offers an optional damage waiver at 12.5% of the total hire cost. The waiver excess is calculated as the actual recovery and repair cost, or 20% of the current replacement value; whichever is lesser. Please note the damage waiver does not apply in cases of misuse, overloading, operation by an unlicensed operator, or wilful damage.

All hires are governed by MSR Equipment Pty Ltd’s standard hire and towing contract conditions (ABN 84 670 885 980).
